The Epoxy Miracle


A scaled down epoxy baitfish imitation suitable for lighter rods

Step 1 - start


A short hook is used for this long flyNext step >>>

 

Step 2 - upside down


After attaching the thread, turn the hook upside downNext step >>>

 

Step 3 - belly


Tie in the white underwing (belly)Next step >>>

 

Step 4 - upright again


Turn the hook upright againNext step >>>

 

Step 5 - tease


Arrange the hair with a dubbing needleNext step >>>

 

Step 6 - underwing


Tie ind a bit more white material for the underwing - this time on top of the hookNext step >>>

 

Step 7 - chartreuse


Add a streak of chartreuse materialNext step >>>

 

Step 8 - olive


Add the darker material - here olive on top. Let it reach a bit longer than the other materialsNext step >>>

 

Step 9 - flash sides


Tie in the flash along each side of the flyNext step >>>

 

Step 10 - gills


Add orange to imitate gillsNext step >>>

 

Step 11 - eyes


After having whip finished, glue on eyesNext step >>>

 

Step 12 - ready for epoxy
